Albino Penis Envy Spores (APE)

Background

Albino Penis Envy spores, commonly referred to as APE, are one of the most well-known and sought-after strains of Psilocybe cubensis spores.

APE comes from a mutation of the Penis Envy strain.

Mycologist Steven Pollock isolated the Penis Envy strain from spores that Terrence McKenna brought back from the Colombian Amazon. Penis envy was curated over the course several years from spores Terrance McKenna’s Penis Envy with PF Albino.

Characteristics of Albino Penis Envy Spores and Fruits

APE spores are clear and oval-shaped, measuring around between 10-20 microns. Individual spores and visible only with the naked eye.

APE mushrooms are short and stout with white stems. APE caps are small and spherical, starting out white, then changing to deep blue as the fruits mature.

Albino Penis Envy is among the most potent of Psilocybe cubensis varieties – as much as twice as potent as the average cube.
