Jack Frost (JF), an albino strain of Psilocybe cubensis, is prized for its aesthetics, potency, and resistance to contamination.
Its name derives from its ghostly-white appearance, resembling freshly fallen snow. The caps flatten and curl upwards, releasing a veil of fine white spores. Bluish gills suggest a moderate psilocybin content.Medium-sized fruiting bodies with dense stems and heavy caps retain their white color when dried, though bruising may cause light to dark blue coloration. Careful handling can preserve the milky-white appearance.
Jack Frost is a relatively easy-to-grow strain, producing decent potency under optimal conditions. Though rare, its parent strains, True Albino Teacher and Albino Penis Envy, are renowned for their exceptional potency.
