A perfect blend of certified organic Coco Coir, Vermiculite, and Calcium sulfate guarantees optimal growth for your dung-loving mushrooms. This substrate is sterilized and ready to inoculate with your grain spawn or liquid culture. Our 3 lb bags come with an injection port for liquid culture inoculation and a 0.2-micron filter patch to allow healthy mushrooms to grow while keeping out any unwanted organisms.
The substrate is sterilized when ordered and has a 1-2 month shelf life.
