New Item! We have a sterilized manure-based substrate now in stock! We amend our coco coir/vermiculite/gypsum substrate with 40% alpaca manure. Why alpaca? Because Alpacas are ruminant animals with three stomachs for efficient digestion. This causes alpaca manure to be lower in organic matter than manure from cows or horses, so it's less likely to burn plants. It's a rich soil conditioner and holds water well. Alpaca manure has the highest N-P-K of any natural fertilizer (1.7-.69-1.2). We sterilize our mix in our 130 gallon barrel sterilizer for 24 hours at 200 degrees in sealed fruiting bags.
